Crushing

Supplying aggregate for hot mix asphalt and concrete is now a highly demanding role. Product gradation is becoming more and more stringent and crushed particle sizes are getting smaller (Inter-Cité currently produces hot mix asphalt containing 30% aggregate that is 3 to 5 mm in size). We have therefore had to continuously improve our equipment and production techniques in order to ensure maximum efficiency. By increasing reduction capacity, screening capacity and aggregate washing capacity, our teams have always been at the leading edge in terms of performance. The rock quarries operated by Inter-Cité and its subsidiaries are located in Val-Bélair, Beauport, Chambord and Sept-Îles.
